Troy Pennock

  • October 18, 2016

We regret to announce the sudden passing of our long time coach Troy Pennock.
Over the years, Troy coached in Baseball BC's High Performance Program, along with many more local associations, including Langley Blaze, Richmond and North Langley baseball. A more dedicated, positive and
passionate baseball coach would be hard to find. Troy will be truly missed by Baseball BC, its communities and certainly beyond...
It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to our coach, colleague and friend today, rest in peace Troy.

Jays Care Field of Dreams Program

  • October 06, 2016

Hello to our friends across Canada

I hope this email finds you well and excited for another thrilling Blue Jays postseason run! I am emailing you from Jays Care Foundation at the Toronto Blue Jays in regards to our Field of Dreams capital granting program. The Field of Dreams program provides funding to design, refurbish, and build safe spaces for children all across Canada to play a baseball, develop life skills and learn from positive role models.

The 2017 granting application period is now open and we need your help! If you know of anybody in your local communities who you believe may be interested in receiving funding to build or refurbish spaces for kids to play, please pass along the attached information about this program. We have attached a summary of the Field of Dreams program and further details can be found on how to apply at http://toronto.bluejays.mlb.com/tor/jays-care/impact/field-of-dreams/. We would also be grateful for any help in sharing this message on Twitter through local association accounts to help reach as many Canadians as possible. Initial applications are accepted until October 31st and we are confident that our 2017 projects will be the most impactful yet!

We thank you for your help and support in positively impacting children and youth from across Canada.
