When you register with you local baseball association, you become part of a much larger family in excess of 200,000 nationally, all of whom share a common passion for our great game. Baseball Canada is the national governing body for baseball in this country of which is a member of the International Baseball Federation (IBAF). Baseball B.C. is a member of Baseball Canada and on their behalf is responsible for governing our game in British Columbia. As a member of your local association, you are connected to the organizations that develop, operate, and select male/female national baseball teams at all levels.

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD)

What is LTAD?

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) is a systemic approach being developed and adopted by Baseball Canada to maximize a participant's potential and involvement in our sport. The LTAD framework aims to define optimal training, competition and recovery throughout an athlete's career to enable him / her to reach his / her full potential in baseball and as an athlete.
