UBC BASEBALL TO START JUNIOR VARSITY (JV) TEAM FOR 2017/18 SEASON

January 3, 2017

The University of British Columbia varsity baseball program (UBC Baseball) will begin a Junior Varsity baseball program in September of 2017.  The success of the UBC Baseball varsity team, their outstanding coaching staff, and new state of the art facilities has created a high demand from many of Canada’s top student-athlete baseball players to attend UBC.

As details and logistics of the team are finalized in the coming months, an important deadline is applying to UBC by January 15, 2017.  All interested players are encouraged to make sure they have filled out their UBC admissions at Apply to UBC  This will allow student athletes throughout the spring time to decide whether attending UBC is their best option as more details of the JV team become available.

The JV team will be a developmental team coached by UBC varsity assistant coaches and will have a full practice and competition schedule based out of our new training centre and soon to be built stadium.  We are in talks with the CCBC (Canadian College Baseball Conference) about potential future membership and will fill out a fall/spring competition schedule against other college baseball programs in Canada and the US.  The team’s budget will be subsidized by player fees like other CCBC teams.

ManDay Grooming

Manday Grooming was started by us (Evan Ward and Shon Noda) out of our mutual need for better hair products great hair products that kept up with our lifestyle. We wanted products that worked better than anything we had tried, using as may natural ingredients as possible. After 1.5 years of research, development, refining our craft, and going to a few markets we decided to share our great products with the world.

What started as 2 guys making pomades in a kitchen condo in 2016 has slowly turned into so much more.

When we got serious and turned Manday into a company we wanted to make sure we did things different and better than anything else on the market. We chose to base our company and products on these principles:
