See a Whiff, Tweet a #Whiff

April 26, 2013

See a whiff, Tweet a #whiff and you help kids!

The Toronto Blue Jays version of the popular Baseball Canada RBI program is called Rookie League.  This program partners the Blue Jays with Boys & Girls Clubs to encourage children in underserved communities to play baseball.

The Blue Jays need your help!  After every strikout by a Blue Jays pitcher this season, tweet about it with hashtag #Whiff and @BlueJays handle.

Example- “Big #Whiff by RA Dickey to lead off the 6th inning! @BlueJays”

If the Blue Jays lead the MLB for the season, Head & Shoulders and Old Spice will donate $20,000 to the Blue Jays Rookie League Program. This is money that could really help to grow baseball at a grass roots level across Canada.

See a whiff, tweet a #whiff for kids!!
