Mark Hardy - World Baseball Classic 2013

March 1, 2013

Mark Hardy is no stranger when it comes to International competition.

Campbell River’s Mark Hardy was selected by the San Diego Padres during the 43rd round of the 2010 First Year Player Draft out of UBC.

Hardy had a couple moments as a Thunderbird he’ll never forget including throwing a no-hitter against Concordia in April of 2010 and pitched for Team Canada in 2008 at the University of Baseball Championships.

The 6’4 lefty wore the red and white twice in 2011 as a member of the Gold Medal winning Pan Am team as well winning a bronze at the Baseball World Cup.

Last season Hardy spend his summer with the AA affiliate of the Padres, the San Antonio Missions.  He would finish 3-6 with a 4.71 ERA and struck out 68 in 70.2 innings.  He appeared in 22 games, starting 10 of them.

He’ll play an important role out of the pen for Team Canada during the 2013 World Baseball Classic.

ManDay Grooming

Manday Grooming was started by us (Evan Ward and Shon Noda) out of our mutual need for better hair products great hair products that kept up with our lifestyle. We wanted products that worked better than anything we had tried, using as may natural ingredients as possible. After 1.5 years of research, development, refining our craft, and going to a few markets we decided to share our great products with the world.

What started as 2 guys making pomades in a kitchen condo in 2016 has slowly turned into so much more.

When we got serious and turned Manday into a company we wanted to make sure we did things different and better than anything else on the market. We chose to base our company and products on these principles:
