Going To Bat Against Cancer

October 3, 2012

Lower Mainland Baseball Association Going to Bat for Cancer Research

For the third year in a row, the Lower Mainland Baseball Association, Ballpark Sports, and the Canadian Cancer Society worked together to raise funds for cancer research.  The annual Going to Bat campaign featured the use of special pink bats donated by Merv Sandrel and Tim Everson of Ballpark Sports.  The bats were used by all 32 teams in their regular league games which were highlighted by a special Buck-a-Hit Weekend where the LMBA donated a buck for each base hit – the bats were busy as 322 base hits were pounded out in a heavy hitting weekend.  The rest of the promotion saw players, families, and friends donate a grand total of $ 4 866, bringing the league’s three year total to over $17 000.  Thanks to Ballpark Sports for their generosity, the Canadian Cancer Society for their organizational support, and to the players, families, and friends for their dedication to a very worthy cause.

ManDay Grooming

Manday Grooming was started by us (Evan Ward and Shon Noda) out of our mutual need for better hair products great hair products that kept up with our lifestyle. We wanted products that worked better than anything we had tried, using as may natural ingredients as possible. After 1.5 years of research, development, refining our craft, and going to a few markets we decided to share our great products with the world.

What started as 2 guys making pomades in a kitchen condo in 2016 has slowly turned into so much more.

When we got serious and turned Manday into a company we wanted to make sure we did things different and better than anything else on the market. We chose to base our company and products on these principles:
