Call for Baseball BC Provincial Championship Hosts

Baseball BC, the Provincial Sport Organization for baseball in British Columbia, is accepting bid packages or submissions of interest for the 2016 Baseball BC Provincial Championships that are scheduled to be hosted in the months of July and August in British Columbia.

This championship hosting opportunity is open to all Baseball Organizations that may be interested.  Organizations may apply to host one or more championships.

The following championships are available to be bid on…

13U AAA.     July 28 – July 31
13U AA.        July 29 – August 1

15U AAA.     July 29 – August 1
15U AA.        July 29 – August 1

18U AAA.     July 7 – July 10
18U AA.        July 29 – August 1

Host responsibilities include facility access including an Umpires Change Room, Bottled Water for Umpires, field preparation for all games and events, scorers, announcers, concession (revenue to be kept by host), pre-tournament meeting facilitation and general event operations throughout.

Baseball BC will provide officials for all games, scheduling, technical director for each event and baseballs (up to 10 dozen).

Hosts will receive a complimentary entry into the Provincial Championship that they host.

Deadline for bid packages or submissions of interest is Tuesday March 1st   and can be sent directly to David Laing.
