Baseball Canada introduces 50th Anniversary logo

OTTAWA- Baseball Canada is pleased to unveil the design of our 50th Anniversary logo that will be used during 2014 to commemorate 50 years as the National governing body for baseball in Canada.

The logo will be used on promotional material including both web-based and print, and will also be displayed at all nine Baseball Canada National Championships during the 2014 season. Baseball Canada’s three National Teams will wear a commemorative 50thAnniversary patch during the 2014 baseball season.

On January 11th in Toronto, the logo will be on display at the annual National Teams Awards Banquet and Fundraiser taking place at the Renaissance Hotel.

“We are very proud and excited to celebrate our history and our great game in 2014,” said Baseball Canada President Ray Carter. “Fifty years as an organization is a significant milestone for Baseball Canada and we look forward to servicing our membership for many more years to come.”

Celebration plans are currently underway and will be announced at a later date.
