MLB Youth Baseball Camp

Presented by Harold Reynolds and the Pacific Northwest Scouting Association

Our community is lucky once again to be asked to host such a great baseball camp for our players! This camp is organized by the Pacific Northwest Scouting Association and will feature a handful of MLB ex-managers, players, and scouts in our backyard! Great opportunity for all ages and levels!

The clinic is open to all ages 9-12 and 13-18, regardless of any previous baseball experience. The clinic will focus on proper fundamentals and techniques regarding throwing, fielding, and hitting. All instructors use a simplistic interactive model in our team’s instruction.  

We are proud and thrilled to have such a strong group of instructors with exceptional professional and playing and coaching experience. Here is a list of the instructors that will be joining this camp and their current MLB affiliate:

Location: South Surrey Athletic Park Field #2 and WRSSBA Indoor Baseball Cages

Ages: 9-12yr old’s and 13-18yr old are the group age breakdowns

Time: 9-12yr old’s are Saturday Oct 20th; 9:30am-12:00pm and Sunday Oct 21th; 9:30am-12:00pm
            13-18yr olds are Saturday Oct 20th; 1:00-3:30, and Saturday Oct 21th; 1:00-3:30pm

Cost: $125.00

What to Bring: Players should wear pants, and bring their helmets, bats, gloves, and baseball shoes.

Lunch/Break: With each clinic being 2.5 hours long, we will take water breaks and also have a lunch. Please provide your camper with a light meal, and a water bottle to stay hydrated and nourished.

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) is a systemic approach being developed and adopted by Baseball Canada to maximize a participant's potential and involvement in our sport. The LTAD framework aims to define optimal training, competition and recovery throughout an athlete's career to enable him / her to reach his / her full potential in baseball and as an athlete.
