After a successful inaugural season in 2018 & exciting growth & a ton of fun in 2019, Baseball BC is thrilled to announce the BC Girls Instructional League will be expanding & back for its 3rd season in 2020! The participants can again look forward to working with the finest female mentors and coaches as they develop baseball skills with other like-minded girls. Throughout 8 sessions over 9 weeks this Spring and Summer, our trained coaches will build confidence, promote inclusivity, and provide a fun environment for new and experienced players alike.
This year, there will be two divisions split into ages 7-9 and 10-12. Both groups will play on Saturday's for 1.5hrs each, with a similar format making year one & two so successful. With a focus on skill development and learning, the players will work in small groups with trained coaches on a variety of baseball skills for the first half of the session. The second half will always include a simulated game, catered to fit the needs of all players.

“Just wanted to say thanks again to you and all the coaches for making it so much fun for the girls. Sarah had a great time and is looking forward to anything else that may come up.”
“Thanks so much. It was amazing to be a part of this inaugural season.”
Coach Niki Boyd – Team Canada Player says “It was an awesome experience for the players and us coaches too. Some of the girls were extremely shy in the beginning, but by the end of the day they became some of the leaders. It was really cool to see them progress on the field as baseball players and off the field as young individuals. The girls built friendships, learned a few baseball fundamentals and had a lot of fun along the way.”
